Process of conservation see: conservation of Kyjov sword.

In 2010 was found near Kyjov (Czech republic) a man's grave with sword, spear and shield. The sword was excavated from the grave by technique "in situ". In the years 2012-2014, the sword was researched and conservated by author in Technical museum in Brno. By this research was made the reconstruction of the sword.
